At HackShield, we believe that social impact begins with transparency. As a social enterprise, we are affiliated with the Code of Social Enterprises and consider it important to be open about how we work, the impact we make, and how we account for our organization and financial decisions.
Our mission & impact
Our social mission forms the foundation of everything we do. Based on our vision and strategy, we develop programs that help children participate safely and consciously in the digital world. Using our Theory of Change, we measure how our activities contribute to lasting social impact.
Stakeholders
We achieve digital resilience together. That is why we maintain active contact with children, parents, schools, municipalities, partners, and experts. Their experiences and insights help us to continuously improve HackShield.
Financial policy
As a social enterprise, we consider it important to be transparent about how we manage our financial resources. For us, profit is not an end in itself, but a means to further strengthen our social mission.
About HackShield
HackShield consists of two closely collaborating organizations: Stichting HackShield Future Cyber Heroes and HackShield B.V. Both have their own roles and responsibilities, but work from one shared mission: to make children digitally resilient.
HackShield B.V.
HackShield BV, the social enterprise, is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous renewal of the HackShield platform. HackShield BV develops the technology, educational content, learning themes, and supporting infrastructure, while coordinating product development, research, strategic partnerships, and day-to-day program management. The B.V. ensures that the program can continue to develop sustainably and reach more and more children.
HackShield Future Cyber Heroes Foundation
Stichting HackShield Future Cyber Heroes is a registered ANBI organization responsible for the nationwide implementation of the program. The foundation collaborates with municipalities, schools, libraries, and other public organizations to ensure that HackShield remains freely accessible and has a broad societal impact.
The foundation and HackShield BV work closely together under a shared mission, combining sustainable innovation with social value.
